Welcoming Jacey Blue Renner to Local Coffee Talk Magazine

We’re beyond excited to introduce a fresh new voice joining the pages of Local Coffee Talk Magazine: the incredibly talented Jacey Blue Renner! 🎉

Jacey brings with her a rich blend of creative energy, storytelling expertise, and a deep appreciation for the power of place—especially when it’s experienced through the lens of a local coffee shop.

As a freelance writer and poet with an MFA from Lesley University, her work has recently graced the pages of Colorado Springs Lifestyle, San Antonio Magazine, and Home Design and Decor, Austin-San Antonio. She has an intuitive sense for uncovering the heart of a community—and translating that into prose that resonates.

But Jacey’s creative footprint doesn’t stop at journalism. A lifelong advocate for the written word, she has curated poetry projects aimed at uplifting youth voices and, more recently, has spent the past year teaching Creative Writing and Public Speaking to middle school students in Virginia. It’s a role she cherishes—a front-row seat to the daily evolution of imagination and expression in young minds.

As part of an Air Force family, Jacey has called many places home. Through every move and transition, local coffee shops have served as her anchor—a way to immediately tap into the narrative pulse of a new community. That personal connection to coffee culture is part of what makes her perspective so aligned with our mission here at Local Coffee Talk: to highlight the people, places, and ideas shaping the local coffee scene across the country.

Now based in Colorado, Jacey continues to root herself through both words and movement—writing and running are her constants. And if you ask her where she finds inspiration, she’ll tell you without hesitation: her “boy crew”—the joyful, adventurous forces that keep her heart wide open and her stories grounded in the everyday beauty of life.

We know our readers will connect deeply with Jacey’s voice. She brings curiosity, warmth, and an eye for small but meaningful details—qualities that make her writing feel like a conversation over a great cup of coffee.

So get ready—because Jacey Blue Renner has stories to tell, and you won’t want to miss them. 👀☕️

Welcome to the Local Coffee Talk family, Jacey!
